Baker Style Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have always LOVED the cookies at my local grocers bakery and have tried one to many times to make the perfect pumpkin cookie and have finally stuck gold with this recipe! ENJOY!!! 

Ingredients: 

1 1/2 cup of granulated sugar 
1 3/4 cup of pumpkin puree 
1/2 cup of butter, melted 
1/2 teaspoon vanilla 
1 egg 
2 tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice 
3 teaspoons of baking powder 
3/4 teaspoon of baking soda 
1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt 
2 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour 
1/2 bag of dark chocolate chips 

Directions: 

Mix together sugar, pumpkin puree, butter, vanilla. Add in egg and mix for 2 minutes. 
In a separate bowl whisk together pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and blend. Adding one cup at a time blend in the flour. Finishing up with the chocolate chips. 
On a greased baking sheet plop down heaping tablespoons of dough and cook for 12 minutes. Let rest for 2-3 minutes on the sheet before serving!

Recipe makes 3 dozen cookies
