Saturday morning hit and I headed out before the hubs could get me started on a hard core P90X sweat session, I went to the mountains for a little TLC time for myself. Heavy storm clouds hung over the mountain peaks dusting them in white powder. I rolled out my mat and took in the beauty that surrounded me pulling out some yoga moves and stretches that are some of my very favorite.
Outdoor yoga is a bit trickier than one would think, the uneven ground was a struggle to maintain balance and being outdoors seemed so peaceful yet slightly distracting with the wind, birds or joggers passing by, and the occasional raindrop or two, I would take an outdoor yoga session over studio yoga any day though. So even if your closest location to nature is to lay out your mat in your backyard, tune out that annoying yapping neighbor dog and breathe in the cool air, you will feel refreshed, energized, and ready to take on hot yoga next week. ;) Namaste.
What a gorgeous view to do yoga in! That's also good for meditation :)
