THE FIX - MOTHER'S DAY MUST HAVE

It was mid bite of The Fix's new Coconut Creme cookie that we were struck with our latest idea. While these cookies are simply delicious and definitely worth the extra calories, they are more than that. They are gift worthy! The flavor, fresh cookie itself, light and creamy frosting just beg to be wrapped up and given to a friend, used by the dozen at a spring bridal shower, or wait for it . . . given to Dear Mother for Mother's Day! Or if you simply need a fix to get through the week stop by and treat yourself to a drink or cookie of your choice. You'll be glad you did!

Rather than rack your brain for the perfect gift while surfing the internet for hours, or walk mindlessly through store after store trying to find something she'll like and use, try an oh so sweet package of cookies that look just as good as they taste.

Also known for their specialty drinks that are a mix of soda, flavors and/or purees of your choosing, (there is a menu if you'd rather not create your own) you can purchase Mugs, or a glass Growler (64 oz.) that Mom can share with her guests on Mothers Day. The best part is the Growlers can be refilled for future use so this can be the gift that keeps on giving all year long. Before you start to think we are related to the owner. (We are not.) We'll just say that we love finding local bakeries, boutiques, and restaurants that are worth supporting. When we stumble upon a goodie, we can't help but share our new finds with you. Because Mothers Day is coming up sooner than we'd like to think we'll continue our search around town to bring you a few more of our favorite finds and give you a few other gift ideas for that hard to shop for Mom.
