This summer take advantage of your backyard, whether it is mountains, the coast, hills, or flat plains for miles. There is something about being in the outdoors that will leave you wanting more vitamin D, fresh air, beautiful views, and major calorie burning activity.....Mother Nature will have you hooked.  Just remember wherever you go to bring along good shoes, water, and a friend...human or canine.

No need to skip your daily Jillian Michaels sweat session in your living room or your casual walks on the treadmill at the gym as you catch up reading the latest US Weekly article on whether Chris and Whitney are still together (admit it, we all have done it). Side with Mother Nature this season and see how it can change up your workouts and your attitude. Word to the wise: early morning or evening outings are always ideal, the cooler weather will allow for longer workout sessions. So turn off your computer, put your phone down, and GET OUTSIDE!! Mother Nature is calling.
